Can I bring a guest? kids? date?
Unfortunately due to venue restrictions, we can only accommodate the number of people specifically named on your Invitation.
I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

There are several hotels, B&Bs, inns, vacation rentals and AirBnBs in the area of Sutter Creek, Amador City, and Jackson.  Please refer to http://www.suttercreek.org/sutter-creek-hotels-bed-breakfasts-lodging.html or your favorite travel app.

When is the RSVP deadline?

We request the favor of your response by June 10th.

What should I wear? Dress code, shoes, colors...

Is there a dress code?

In a word, no.  The weather in July is likely to be fairly hot and we want you to be comfortable.  Dressy Casual is fine.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn’t I wear?

Ceremony and reception are on grass, if that helps.  We’ll be dancing on the stage and in the garden.

Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?

Umm, no

How do I get to the venue?

The Park at Hanford Courte is located at 140 Hanford Street (“old” Highway 49) Sutter Creek, California.  Click here for Driving Directions.

What time should I arrive?
We request you plan to arrive no later than 4:30pm.  There are pre-ceremony refreshments in the Grand Courte starting at 4 pm to give those driving plenty of time to park and cool down before heading up the hill to the ceremony site.
Where should I park?

Parking is free but somewhat limited, so we suggest ride sharing, if available.  The Park at Hanford Courte is located at 140 Hanford Street (Highway 49) Sutter Creek, California.  There are three parking areas at Hanford Courte and to maximize the number of spaces, there will be someone on site to assist in getting you parked properly.

If in the unlikely event we are not able to accommodate everyone’s car, we will shuttle people from the Days Inn down the street.

May I take pictures or video of the wedding?
Please do!  The only thing we ask is that they not be shared on social media without the bride and groom’s permission.
Does your wedding have a theme?
We’re going for French Revolution feel, but its a loose inspiration.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes.  The path up to the ceremony site is paved, however if you need assistance, we’ll be happy to get someone to help you up or down the hill.
Will food/drinks be served?

Not only will there will be pre-ceremony refreshments at 4pm, but there will be a reception with hosted bar(beer, wine and Soju cocktails) and full barbecue buffet dinner immediately after the ceremony.  Its just a short walk down the hill to the Garden area.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

There will be some vegetarian options available for our non-meat eating friends.

Will there be dancing?

Yes! Yes! Yes!

Please let us know your favorite dance tune on the RSVP page!

What time will the reception end?

Due to venue rules, the music must stop at 9pm, so the reception will be breaking up shortly after that.  After the reception festivities will continue at “The Cellar” located next to Hotel Sutter. A perfect little speakeasy for a relaxed atmosphere and a live band.

Is there a gifts registry?

Your presence is the most joyous gift we could ever hope for. We hope to see you in Sutter Creek, but if you’re unable to attend, please send us your good wishes and warm thoughts.

That said, my sister insists I have a registry, mostly so she has gift ideas for the next five Christmases and birthdays.
