One fateful morning, May 19th 2012, each of us set off on separate adventures to enjoy life by joining a group hike to Bassi Falls. We immediately became friends as Eric wanted to know more about who he called “the awesome cool chick”, and Kammy enjoyed the fun energetic guy who needed help loading his film camera. Although we got along great, we went our separate ways and had to wait three years before meeting up again. #ThanksFacebook for letting us stay in touch all that time.

In 2015, it just so happened that Kammy was returning to Sacramento from a long stay in Michigan and Eric from living in the SF Bay area. Eric noticed Kammy’s check-in (again, #ThanksFacebook) and they took a chance to meet, talk, and laugh over dinner and have been nearly inseparable since.
