I have known Deb since before the dawn of selfies and she’s been a great friend through many life changes.  She’s a bad-ass elementary school teacher, the most reliable and organized person I know, a great leader and volunteer.  If there’s music, you can always count on her to dance and if there’s wine or whiskey, you can always count on her to raise a glass with you.  We also share a love of dogs, camping, and derby hats.

Deb has been married to our officiant Mike for 26 years. I could not abide by the standard titles for women in the place “of Honor”, hence the HBIC because she really IS running the show.
